anyhoooo, i do really believe that religion should be between people and god. people should have the right to worship (or even not worship anything) "whatever" they want (and i do mean whatever), as long as they do not "impose" their beliefs on others.
you do not have to have a religion to be a good person.
the "harm" from separation religion and state on society will be less than the "harm" of imposing religion on people.
In the current circumstances I agree with you,because I don't think mixing them now is possible in the first place,I think that in order to make a nation go by the rules of any religion,that needs be implanted over many years,and based on serious and strong ground...which we don't have,so imposing the religion on everyone and suddenly telling people that we will punish those who steal by cutting their hands and those who drink with whipping them is definitely impossible at this stage,and will be unfortunately useless. People find it easy to say "al islam howa al 7all" What they don't realize is that even though Islam does have a great way of life and a flexible sharea they do still have to work hard,solutions will not just fall from the sky on us..literally lol We have to work hard even if we think we have the solution,we have to work hard and for a long time to finally say:now we can truly apply what we believe is the key to our problems
